Sara Is officially walking!

Hollywood here we come!

Is it really time? I can't believe my baby girl is walking and climbing on the rocking horse all by herself. She is such a cutie. She is still a bit wobbly, but she gets around just fine.

Zoo and Visit with Nana and Papa David

I think this lizard liked Andrew.

A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo. The "Birmingham Zoo" per Andrew. Nana and Papa David were in town for a visit. They all went to McWayne Center Friday, but I wasn't there to take pictures. We had such a good visit, it is always fun when they come.

Keith, Trisha and Layla met us at the zoo. As you can see we have a cute couple on our hands. We all think Layla is so beautiful. Andrew is pretty handsome too. They always play so well together.

It was a fun filled day.

Sara's 1st Birthday

Sara had such a fun birthday party. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. We had waterslides and a baby pool for all of the kids to play and stay cool. We had BBQ for lunch, thank you uncle Joel for smoking the meat and thank you Aunt Annette for the wonderful potato salad.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Nanny and Maw Maw for letting us have the party at your house and for all of your help.

I think it is safe to say Sara likes cake. She dug right in and had iciing from head to toe.

Beach Vacation 2009

This was a dificult photo shoot, hungry kids. I think a couple out of

several turned out ok, we had a few silly shots too.

Our precious little ones, they can be so angelic at times.

Beach Beauty,

she loved the sand and had so much fun.

Nanny had fun with the grandkids too. She got some much needed rest.

We rented a pontoon boat in Destin and rode out to crab island

for the day on Thursday. We had a great time playing and eating ice cream.

A dad next to us on the beach dug up this big crab, Andrew loved

chasing the other kids with it. He doesn't seem to be afraid of much.

I am not sure if this is good or bad.

We caught a few, but they were pretty hard to find.

Our condo had a water park in the pool area, so Andrew

thought it was Visionland (aka Alabama Adventure)
That's where he wanted to be at all times.

Our week went by toooo fast, I needed 1 more week.

We had a great time, and made many memories.

They grow up too fast.

Rachel's Wedding

So we went to our friend Rachel's wedding this past weekend at Brackner park,

close to Tannehill. The wedding was beautiful, outdoors. It rained a whole lot this past weekend, which make for a lot of mud, which my child couldn't refrain from. I have never been so embarrassed, as my child was muddy from head to toe by the time we left in his white dress pants. It was nice.... real nice.

He probably will not make the next wedding I attend.

Beach at Lock 17

We went to the state park at Lock 17 on the Warrior River a couple of weeks ago.
You can camp out there, they have a beach area and picnic area.
Sara loved the sand and water (very cold water), so I don't expect any
problems when we go to Florida.
We had a fun day, I'm sure we will go there again soon.

Happy 13th Birthday Kristle

We also had Kristle's birthday while Nana and Papa David were here.

It was at Tannehill Park, another gorgeous day to be outdoors, we had much fun.

The kids loved playing in the creek.

Happy 13th Kristle, I can't believe you are a teenager now, time flies.
