Fairfield Highlands Youth Reunion

Rebekah planned a wonderful Saturday reunion at Tishamingo State Park last weekend.
We met at the lodge that morning, mingled a bit, then Bro. Harry had the morning watch where he read scripture and had prayer. We then had a picnic lunch.
We all traveled over to the field for some water games that Paige had planned for us.
The fun was just beginning, when Andrew cut his foot while running to first base during water baseball. We doctored it and wrapped it up and was going to try to stay a bit, but he was ready to go home, so we had to call it a day early. His foot is healing but it is hard to keep a 5 year old down and off their feet. Hopefully another week from now, this will be a thing of the past. Thank you to all who helped us during that moment, you know moms do not do well when their babies are hurt or bleeding. Jeff did great though, he's such a good daddy.

Mom and Andrew running a water bottle relay race.
Tatum thinking about getting in the pool.

Talan and Leann about to catch a water balloon.

Sweet brother and sister.

Family Photo Shoot

Handsome Andrew!
Pretty Girl!

These are some pictures I took when we first got there.
We had family pictures made at Botanical Gardens a couple of weeks ago.
It was 102 degrees out by the time we left the gardens... need I say more.
The kids were pretty good, Jeff and I were done by the time it was over.
I don't think I have ever been that hot while trying to stay sweat free for pictures. I will definitely rethink the timing next year, maybe spring or Fall, never July again.
Thank you Kim for your patience and talent, I can't wait to see them.

Sara's 2nd Birthday

Silly Sara
Is anybody home?

I know there is something in here...

Thank you everyone for all of the wonderful gifts!

This girl has a serious thing for shoes!

Happy Birthday to me...

Yummy food and cupcakes along with homemade ice cream.
We had a 4th of July/All American theme.
Tatum loved the water gun, I love this picture.

Sara and Tatum, two cute girls.

We celebrated Sara's 2nd birthday on July 10th. She is such a joy and so precious. We cannot believe she is already 2, time is really flying by. We had a super fun party and lots of friends came to celebrate our little firecracker!
We love you Sara, you are our little angel!

Luke, Aden, Allie & Ashton

Fun pictures of Sara, she is so full of personality.

*Happy 4th of July*
We spent Saturday and Sunday at the lake with the Grill family.
We had a great time, it was a beautiful weekend.

Andrew, Sara and Luke fishing at the river house.

Our ball player made all-stars this year, he makes us proud.
We learned a lot even though our little team didn't do very well,
I hope we have better luck next year, at least we will know what to expect.

Andrew had all of his grandmothers present for his program, he felt so special.
This is also a picture of he and his teacher Ms. Rachel in the middle left picture.
Andrew finished up his year in 4K, so we will be off to big school next year. He is so excited, I hope the change will be good. Sara is doing well, she is the happiest, most independent almost 2 year old I have ever met. She loves to do things for herself... completely opposite of Andrew:)

Just because they are cute!

Happy Birthday Braden

Happy Birthday Braden, thanks for having us!

We went to Braden's birthday party at Pump It Up. It was so much fun, the kids all had a blast and were completely worn out, so they will sleep good tonight.

Kindergarten Train Trip

The most important part of our trip was the snack car.
The 4K and 5K classes go on a train trip every year.
It was a pleasure to spend the day with Andrew and his friends.
The bus took us the McDonalds for lunch then drove us to Tuscaloosa,
there we caught the Amtrak train and traveled back to Birmingham.
